Kitchen Plumbing & Sink Installation in Knoxville, TN
Day one, the clogged sink is annoying. Day three, you’re tired of waiting on that guy your neighbor told you about. The kitchen is the one room that just simply can’t be down. We’ll be out today.
When Your Kitchen Is Down, You Need Someone Today
Your sink stopped draining this morning, or that new faucet has been sitting in its box since the remodel wrapped up. Either way, you’ve got one question: can somebody actually come out today?
Yes. A real person answers the phone when you call — not a menu, not a voicemail, not a promise that somebody will get back to you. They get the details, find you a spot on the schedule, and in most cases we’re at your house the same day. You get your kitchen back.
That holds even when you’re not sure what you need yet. Plenty of folks call because the remodel’s done and there’s a new refrigerator sitting three feet from a wall with no water line in it. We’ll come look, tell you plainly what it takes, and lay out your options so you can make the decision with no pressure.
The Remodel's Done. The Plumbing Isn't.
A kitchen remodel goes beautifully right up until the end. Cabinets are hung, the counters are in, the backsplash looks like the picture you saved. Then the crew packs up and pulls out of the driveway, and over the next few days you start noticing some things that don’t seem right. The new refrigerator has an ice maker and nothing running to it. There’s a gap where the dishwasher goes. The island got a gorgeous faucet and a drain that gurgles every time you use it.
Sometimes it’s worse than that — it did get hooked up, just not by a plumber. The drain under the new sink was put together by somebody who does a little of everything, and it holds fine for about a month. Then the bottom of that brand-new cabinet starts to swell, and you find out what “a little of everything” actually cost you. The guy that put all this stuff in is nowhere to be found and what about that dishwasher?
We get these kinds of calls a lot more than you think. That’s where we step in — we do the plumbing, and we do it right the first time. Water line to the fridge, dishwasher in and running, insta-hot at the sink so your coffee water is ready when you are, island faucet and drain done to code, gas run for the new range. The finish work that never got budgeted.
The Kitchen Work We Handle Every Day
Here’s what we take care of for you:
- Kitchen sink installation. New sink going in, or the old one finally gave up. We set it, connect it, and make sure it drains the way it should.
- A new island. Running water and drain to a spot in your kitchen that never had plumbing in it before. This is the one people assume is simple.
- Dishwashers. Adding one where there wasn’t one, or swapping out the one that quit. Connected, level, and running before we leave.
- Water line to the refrigerator. Your new fridge makes ice and cold water — as soon as something feeds it.
- Insta-hot at the sink. Near-boiling water on demand for coffee and tea. Small thing, and people love it every single morning.
- Faucet upgrades. Pull-down sprayers and hands-free models are what everybody’s asking for right now — see our faucet and fixture work.
- Drains that were put in wrong. If somebody who does a little of everything built that trap under your sink, we’ll rework it properly. Already backing up? Start with drain cleaning.
- Garbage disposals and gas ranges. Disposal humming and doing nothing, or a new range that needs gas run to it — see garbage disposal repair.
READY TO GET YOUR KITCHEN BACK
One call and we’ll be out today. We’ll look at what you’ve got going on and provide you with some different options so you don’t have to call all over town to get different estimates.
Veteran-Owned, and We've Seen a Lot of Kitchens
Bizzy B Plumbing has been working on kitchens around East Tennessee since 2011 — veteran-owned, family-run, and close enough that nobody’s driving in from two counties over to get to you. Alcoa and Knoxville are our home bases. Maryville is up the road, Powell is a regular run north, and Hardin Valley and Cedar Bluff keep us busy out west. We were named Best of Tennessee 2025, which meant something to us because it came from votes from real people in your neighborhood. Call us and you’re getting people from your own community — folks who’ll still be here to answer for the work next year. When you’re Bizzy, we’re here for you.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) - Kitchen Plumbing
Why is my kitchen sink draining slow?
Usually it’s grease and food building up in the trap or the line past it, and it gets a little worse every week until the day it quits entirely. Sometimes it’s the drain itself — put together wrong or pitched wrong, so it was never going to work right to begin with. Those are two very different fixes, so the first thing we do is find out which one you’ve got.
Can you hook up the water line to my new refrigerator?
Yes, and it’s one of the most common calls we get after a remodel. Your fridge will make ice and cold water as soon as something feeds it. We run the line, connect it, and make sure there are no leaks. We even take the time to flush out the filter on that new fridge.
Can you add a dishwasher where there’s never been one?
Yes. It takes water going to it and a drain coming off it, and doing both without tearing into cabinets you just paid for. We’ll look at the space first and tell you plainly what’s involved before anything gets opened up.
What is an insta-hot, and is it worth putting in?
It’s a small unit that lives under your sink and gives you near-boiling water the second you turn the handle — coffee, tea, oatmeal, no standing around waiting on a kettle. It’s a little thing that people end up using every single morning. If you already have work happening under that sink, that’s the easy time to add one.
Can you run plumbing to a new kitchen island?
Yes. An island means getting water and drain to a spot in the middle of your floor that never had either one, so it’s real work — but it’s work we do. We’ll come see where the island is going and walk you through what it takes.
Somebody already hooked up my new sink and it’s leaking. Will you fix their work?
All the time. When a drain gets assembled by somebody who does a little of everything, it tends to hold for a few weeks and then the bottom of that brand-new cabinet starts to swell. We take it apart, put it back together right. After all, you did call the professionals.
Can someone come out today?
In most cases, yes. A real person takes your call, gets the details from you, and gets you on the schedule the same day — so you’re not washing dishes in the bathtub for a week waiting on somebody to call you back.
What’s this going to cost me?
Every kitchen is different. Swapping a faucet and running new lines out to an island aren’t remotely the same job, which is why we come look instead of guessing at a number over the phone. Once we can see it, you get a clear estimate before any work starts, and you decide where to go from there.
