About Bizzy B Plumbing
One truck. One promise. A whole lot of hard work.
Back in 2011, Bizzy B Plumbing was one guy, one truck, and a simple idea: show up when you say you will, do the job right, and treat people’s homes like they matter. That guy was Lance Ford — a veteran with 20-plus years in the trade and a low tolerance for the runaround so many folks get from big plumbing outfits.
Turns out, doing right by people is good for business. One truck became a fleet. A one-man shop became a family. And a promise made on a driveway in East Tennessee became the way we do everything, every day.
We’re still that same company at heart — just with more hands to help and a lot more neighbors who know they can count on us.
Why a bee? Meet ELI (short for Everybody Loves It)
It all started with a conversation I had with my father-in-law. He called me out to look at one of his rental properties that needed all of the plumbing replaced. It (for me) was an easy job. He already had the flooring cut out in the bathroom, so I could see most of the plumbing. I shared with him that I could get it all replaced the same day. It was already around five o’clock that evening, so he asked me to call him when I finished. I could see in his eyes he didn’t think I could pull that off.
I called him around eleven o’clock that night to let him know the job was finished. He still didn’t believe me so he insisted he wanted to see for himself. When he got there he took a few minutes to look around, crossed his arms and said, and I quote “Man. You’re a busy little bee aint ya boy? Great job. It looks good”. With a huge smile on his face he shook my hand and thanked me.
At that moment the name came to me for a business. The name was just so real and honest I had to roll with it. After a few attempts with the spelling (there was a cleaning business in Nashville with the correct spelling) and a redesign of the original mascot I landed on Bizzy B. As Paul Harvey would say “And that’s the rest of the story”.
ELI’s the friendly face of a promise. He’s on our trucks, our shirts, and — if you’ve got kids — probably their new favorite part of the whole visit.
What it's actually like to have us in your home
Letting a stranger into your home is a big deal. We never forget that. We believe you will feel that from the first time you reach out to us all the way to the monthly drawings for birthday gifts.
Here’s what you can expect every single time: a real, friendly person answers the phone and actually listens to you to get a better understanding of your situation. We show up when we say we will — clean, on time, shoe covers on. We take the time to explain what’s going on and walk you through your options, so you decide what makes sense for you, your home, and your budget. No talking over your head, no pressure, just different solutions to solve your problem. When we’re done, we clean up after ourselves and leave your home the way we found it — just with the plumbing working again.
At the end of the visit, you’re not left guessing. We want to make sure you’re informed, comfortable with what got done, and confident we’ll be here for you for whatever you need fixed next.
When you're Bizzy, we're here for you
Whether it's a surprise leak, a clogged drain, a water heater that's on the fritz, or a project you've been putting off, we'd be honored to help.
