Plumber in Farragut, TN

Bizzy B Plumbing helps Farragut homeowners with water heaters, drain and sewer trouble, leak detection, and the everyday plumbing repair that goes wrong at the worst time. We’re a veteran-owned, family-owned company founded in 2011 by Lance T Ford Jr, and we know the homes out here, from the older builds near Concord to the newer subdivisions off Grigsby Chapel Road. As a trusted plumber in Farragut and across greater Knoxville, we treat every house like it’s our own.

Plumbing Issues Farragut Homeowners Run Into

Most plumbing problems in Farragut come down to two things: the age of the home and the hard water coming out of the tap. We’ve seen the same handful of issues over and over across town, and catching them early is what keeps a small fix from turning into a flooded floor.

Is your hot water running out faster in an older Fox Den home?

Hard water builds sediment in the tank and wears out the water heater years before it should quit. A tankless water heater fixes that for a lot of homes.

Do you have gray plastic pipe in a home built in the 80s or early 90s?

A lot of Farragut homes went up with polybutylene, and that pipe gets brittle and leaks at the fittings without warning. Repiping is often the smart call.

Are your faucets crusty and your water pressure dropping?

The limestone in our East Tennessee water leaves scale that clogs fixtures and causes low water pressure at every tap. A filtration system helps.

Did pipes freeze on you during the last cold snap?

East Tennessee gets those single-digit blasts, and a burst pipe in a crawlspace or along an outside wall is one of our most common winter calls.

Seeing slow drains or backups in an older neighborhood near Concord?

Mature trees and shifting clay soil cause root intrusion straight into aging sewer and drain lines.

Why Farragut Plumbing Calls for a Local Touch

Farragut grew up fast. The town got its start in 1980, so most homes here went up between the 80s and the 2000s. That timing matters. Homes from the early boom often hide polybutylene pipe, aging copper, or old galvanized lines, and the hard water works on those pipes and water heaters year after year. Add clay soil that shifts under slabs and causes root intrusion in sewer lines, and you get a set of plumbing problems a plumber only spots after working these streets for a while. Even the newer subdivisions run into trouble, since builder-grade fixtures tend to wear out around year seven to ten.

We know this side of Knox County. We’ve worked homes off Kingston Pike and Campbell Station Road, older builds near Fort Loudoun Lake and Concord Park, and newer places out toward Grigsby Chapel Road and Turkey Creek. When you tell us where you are, we already have a good idea of your home’s age, your pipes, and what our water is doing to them. That’s the difference between a big outfit sending a stranger and a local team that knows Farragut plumbing inside and out.

I always use Bizzy B Plumbing for all my projects here. I have never had a problem with any of the work they do here. The only issue came about when the original owner reversed the hot and cold lines for the basemwnt toilet back in 1962 and Justin didn't catch it. Bizzy B came out and fixed the problem for free once we realized there was a problem since that bathroom is rarely used. All my future projects already have them in mind for when I am ready.

From start to finish it was a great experience and service that was provided. Scheduling was so easy and the heads up about the technician on their way was so helpful in planning the day. Would highly recommend Justin, he was prompt and honest and very knowledgeable.

Justin is fantastic. Starting to feel like he should come over for Thanksgiving dinners with the rest of our family. This time was a blockage in our mainline. I couldn’t find the clean out anywhere around our house earlier in the morning, so I called Bizzy B. Justin came over within an hour of the call, helped me look for the clean out…we still couldn’t find it, but he recommended we push the blockage from inside the house anyways based on description of the problem. Great communication from Bizzy B from scheduling up to his arrival timing. Up front estimate, quick removal of a toilet, clog was found and pushed clear, and final payment all happened within 3 hours of initial call.

Great company and service. I called with a bad hot water heater and they came out quickly and replaced within hours. Justin was great, knowledgeable, and did great work. My only complaint is prices seemed high, but quality was also high.

Frequently Asked Questions

How soon can you start a job in Farragut?

For most repairs we start the same day. Bigger jobs we schedule fast around your schedule.

Yes, fully licensed, insured, and veteran-owned. You can ask for our TN license number anytime.

Yes, on bigger jobs like repiping, water heaters, sewer lines, and remodels. Just ask when you call and we’ll walk you through the options.

All the time. Some older Farragut homes still have stretches of original galvanized pipe that slowly rusts shut, which drags down water pressure and can tint your water. We’ll show you where it is and replace it with pipe that lasts.

Yes. We answer the phone around the clock. Burst pipe, no hot water, or a sewer backup, call us and we’ll get out as fast as we can, most days same-day.

Most of the time it’s how the last water heater was hooked up, not the heater itself and not anything you did. When the steel of the heater touches the copper lines directly, the two metals slowly eat each other and pinholes show up. When we install a water heater, we separate the metals so it doesn’t come back.

Can you find a leak without tearing up my yard or floors?

In most cases, yes. We pinpoint where the leak is before we dig or open anything up, so we only disturb the spot that needs fixing.

All of them. We’re out in Fox Den, Concord Hills, the subdivisions along Northshore Drive, and everywhere in between.
